Jai Arrow prepares for 100th NRL game after MND diagnosis

South Sydney forward Jai Arrow will play his 100th NRL game on Friday night following an early retirement forced by a diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease. The league has granted a rule exemption allowing the Rabbitohs to use an additional interchange player, enabling Arrow to take the field for the match. Arrow, who revealed his diagnosis earlier this year, said he remains focused on maintaining a normal life for his family while raising awareness for the disease. He described an initial period of difficulty following the diagnosis but stated he has committed to a positive approach to his health and future. The veteran forward intends to continue searching for treatment options to extend his life. His appearance on Friday is expected to draw a sold-out home crowd.
