Page recently competed at UFC Paris this past Saturday and picked up a unanimous decision victory against Nursulton Ruziboev in a middleweight matchup on the main card. While Page got the victory, once again, the fight itself left a lot to be desired as the Paris fans showered the matchup with boos, and left fans and pundits wanting a lot more. Following the final bout on Page’s contract, the UFC chose not to re-sign the former Bellator star — which Dana White confirmed on Tuesday after the recent episode of Contender Series. On Wednesday, Paul sent a public message to Page and the MMA fan base expressing interest in signing the fighter to the soon-to-be newly rebranded MVP MMA. “Think it’s time to bring MVP to MVP,” Paul wrote on Twitter. Meanwhile, Page ended his UFC run going 5-1 in the promotion, with the lone loss coming to recent welterweight title challenger Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303 in June 2024. “MVP” had a message of his own to the naysayers in an Instagram post. View this post on Instagram “Me trying to handle the internet’s opinions,” Page wrote in a photo while pushing a rock.
