Jalen McMurray and other Titans players change jersey numbers before season opener

Tennessee Titans defensive back Jalen McMurray changed his jersey number from 16 to 47 on Friday. The roster adjustment occurred alongside changes for defensive back Tony Adams, who moved to number 29, and wide receiver K.J. Osborn, who switched to number 8. McMurray signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in April and was assigned to the practice squad on August 31. A former collegiate player at Tennessee and Temple, McMurray appeared in 26 games for the Volunteers across two seasons. The Titans are scheduled to face the New York Jets at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on September 13. Kickoff for the regular season opener is set for 1 p.m. EDT.
