Jamier Brown, a five-star wide receiver recruit for Ohio State, alleges he received unusual offers from colleges during his NIL negotiations. In a June 13 interview, he stated that some schools proposed providing women to entice him into committing to their programs. This claim was echoed by fellow recruit Ace Alston, who mentioned receiving calls from women as part of the recruiting process. Brown is recognized as the top recruit from Ohio and ranks fourth nationally in the 2027 class. He committed to Ohio State in November 2024.
