Jaxson Dart shows improvement at Giants training camp

Jaxson Dart cleared a hurdle in his development at New York Giants training camp on August 11, 2026, by incorporating advice from teammates. The quarterback, selected 25th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, had struggled with his tendency to avoid sliding, a habit that led to unnecessary hits. His commitment to improving was met with enthusiasm from the defensive unit, which celebrated when Dart finally executed a slide during practice. Giants linebacker Brian Burns expressed approval, indicating that players had been urging Dart to adapt for some time. As Dart aims to solidify his role as the starting quarterback, he will need to continue showcasing his growth throughout the offseason.
