Jaylen Warren central to MVP discussion following big Steelers win

Jaylen Warren, running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is gaining attention for NFL MVP consideration. Former quarterback Ben Roethlisberger praised Warren’s performance on his podcast, highlighting his impressive yards after contact. In Week 8, the Steelers rushed for 200 yards in a victory over the Cleveland Browns, marking Warren's fourth 100-yard game of the season and fifth game with over 125 yards from scrimmage. This season, Warren achieved an impressive 6.9 yards per touch, the highest for a running back in the first eight games of a season in the last decade. Despite the accolades, winning the MVP award will be challenging, as a running back has not secured the title since Adrian Peterson in 2012.
