Jeremiyah Love, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, will not play in the Arizona Cardinals' Hall of Fame Game against the Carolina Panthers on August 6. Head coach Mike LaFleur confirmed that Love will be rested, focusing on managing his workload during the preseason. Despite competing well during training camp, the decision to hold him out aims to preserve the rookie running back for the regular season. Meanwhile, rookie Carson Beck will start at quarterback, as veteran Jacoby Brissett is also ruled out for the contest.
