Jess McClain joins The Marathon Project as part-owner

Jess McClain, a former standout at Phoenix Xavier Prep, has become part-owner of The Marathon Project in Chandler, which will take place on December 12. McClain, the American course record holder at the Boston Marathon, is also expected to compete in the race. She returned to running in 2023 after a three-year hiatus and has expressed a desire to improve accessibility to the sport for future generations. The Marathon Project was established by Ben Rosario, a co-founder of HOKA Northern Arizona Elite.
