Jets waive three players following preseason win against Steelers

The New York Jets have waived running back Sam Scott, pass rusher Nate Voorhis, and wide receiver Caullin Lacy after their preseason victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers on August 21, 2026. The team is addressing injury issues, with running backs Breece Hall and Isaiah Davis both sidelined. In response to the cuts, the Jets signed pass rusher Anthony Dunn, running back Dominic Richardson, and defensive back Tanner Wall. Dunn previously played at Toledo and signed with the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this year, while Richardson had a solid season at Tulsa. Wall played at BYU and most recently spent part of the offseason with the Miami Dolphins.
