Aston Villa manager Unai Emery confirmed that midfielder Johan Manzambi will miss Saturday's Premier League match against Hull City. Manzambi is currently training with the group but is not yet ready for match play. He could return for Tuesday's Champions League fixture against Club Brugge or next weekend's match against Nottingham Forest. Brian Madjo also remains unavailable for selection as he continues to recover from an injury, while Amadou Onana is ruled out for the long term.
