John Cena recently addressed his 2025 WWE heel turn during his retirement tour, noting he does not regret the decision despite mixed fan reception. The veteran wrestler aligned with The Rock at the 2025 Elimination Chamber, a move he described as a bold creative risk proposed by Paul. Although the heel turn faced criticism and was eventually dropped, Cena emphasized that he views the experience as a valuable lesson in taking professional risks. He concluded his in-ring career with a final match against Gunther on December 13, 2025, at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Cena is now retired from wrestling and has transitioned back to his acting career, recently appearing in the film Coyote vs. Acme.
