Jonathon Brooks will not play for Panthers in Hall of Fame Game

Jonathon Brooks will not participate in the Hall of Fame Game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals tonight. Confirmed by coach Dave Canales, Brooks is among several players expected to sit out as he competes for the starting running back position after injuries have limited his playing time. He has appeared in only three games since being drafted due to two ACL tears. Chuba Hubbard, another potential contributor, will also miss the game, leaving Trevor Etienne and AJ Dillon to handle backfield duties. The game is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
