Jordyn Adams switches from baseball to football at SMU

Jordyn Adams, recently released by the Milwaukee Brewers' Class AAA affiliate Nashville Sounds, will pursue a football career at Southern Methodist University. The 26-year-old former five-star football prospect was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in 2018 before making it to the MLB. He showcased his talent in the minor leagues, but the Brewers released him on May 25. Adams joins a trend as former Brewers minor-leaguer Monte Harrison also transitioned to college football, although Harrison remains with the Arkansas roster after an injury.
