José Mourinho supports the Bernabéu as 2030 World Cup final venue

Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has publicly endorsed the Santiago Bernabéu as the appropriate stadium to host the final of the 2030 World Cup. The tournament is scheduled to be jointly hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. While expressing a personal sentimental preference for a final in Lisbon, Mourinho described the Bernabéu as a mythical and historic venue that has hosted some of the greatest players in the sport. He emphasized that his stance is based on footballing merit rather than his current professional ties to the club. The coach stated he would maintain this position regardless of his employer, citing the historical significance of the Madrid stadium as the deciding factor for his recommendation. His public support adds to the ongoing discussion regarding the selection of the decisive venue for the international tournament.
