Juicy Finau to debut in professional sumo tournament on Sept. 26

Professional wrestling star Juicy Finau will make his professional sumo debut on September 26 at the World Elite Sumo tournament in Santa Cruz, California. The 12-man, one-night tournament will feature Finau alongside other athletes including Josh Ortiz and Gilberto De La Torre. Finau has a background in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling and is known for his size and agility in the ring. WES CEO Abdelrahman Shalan expressed excitement for Finau's transition to sumo competition, highlighting the history of athletes crossing combat sports. The tournament is set to take place at the Kaiser Permanente Arena and will include best-of-three matches.
