Junior Caminero confirmed for 2026 MLB Home Run Derby in Philadelphia

Junior Caminero is the first confirmed participant for the 2026 T-Mobile MLB Home Run Derby, taking place on Monday, July 13, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Currently, Caminero ranks tied for fifth in MLB with 23 home runs. The event will introduce new rules, including a swing-based format without a timer, allowing hitters 20 swings in the first round, 15 in the second and finals. The top four home run hitters will advance to the next rounds, while ties will be settled by swing-offs. Further competitors for the Derby will be announced in the coming days.
