Saratoga Springs junior defensive end Cam Toomey has emerged as the most highly recruited football player in Section 2 history. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound prospect reached 26 Division I scholarship offers by mid-June, including interest from programs such as Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oregon, LSU, and Alabama. Toomey, who maintains a disciplined approach to the recruiting process, remains focused on his high school career while balancing communication with collegiate coaching staffs. He previously sought advice from former Saratoga Springs star and current Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.
