Junior Pauga signs two-year contract with Hull FC for 2027

Sydney Roosters outside back Junior Pauga will join Hull FC on a two-year deal beginning in 2027. The 30-year-old Samoan international departs the Roosters after four seasons, including a 21-game stint in the club's colors. Pauga, who has tallied 11 career tries in 25 NRL appearances, found himself behind incoming recruit Reuben Garrick in the Roosters' depth chart. He has maintained consistent form in the NSW Cup throughout 2026, recording 13 tries in 16 appearances. Pauga joins a growing list of off-season additions at the English club, which recently secured the services of veteran Daly Cherry-Evans. The player will conclude his time at the Roosters by featuring in his 26th NRL match against South Sydney this weekend.
