Justin Cryer records nine tackles in Texas victory over Ohio State

Texas linebacker Justin Cryer recorded a team-high nine tackles in a 24-23 win over Ohio State on Saturday. Playing in the middle of Will Muschamp's defense, Cryer also contributed a tackle for loss, a pass breakup, and three quarterback pressures. The performance marks his second consecutive start since transferring from Florida State to join the Longhorns before his senior season. Through two games, the Katy, Texas native has compiled 12 total tackles. Texas improved its season record to 2-0 following the result. The team now prepares to host the UTSA Roadrunners in Austin for a Week 3 matchup scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
