Juventus has initiated discussions with Emi Martinez, the goalkeeper for Aston Villa, regarding a potential transfer this summer. Sources indicate that Martinez emerged as a top target following the unsuccessful pursuit of Alisson Becker. The 33-year-old, who recently won the Europa League, is under contract with Villa until 2029, complicating negotiations. Reports suggest Juventus faces financial challenges matching Martinez’s €9 million salary and a potential transfer fee of around €40 million. If a deal fails, Tottenham's Guglielmo Vicario may be the next option for Juventus.
