Kamilla Cardoso leads Chicago Sky past Connecticut Sun in comeback

Kamilla Cardoso scored 26 points as the Chicago Sky overcame a 14-point deficit to defeat the Connecticut Sun 94-88 on August 1 at Wintrust Arena. After trailing at halftime, the Sky outscored the Sun 54-39 in the second half, including 33 points in the fourth quarter. DiJonai Carrington, making her Sky debut, contributed 9 points in 16 minutes. The Sun's Aneesah Morrow led her team with 21 points. Chicago moves to a stronger position in the playoff race as Connecticut faces its fourth consecutive loss.
