Kelvin Sampson reveals ESPN is filming documentary on Kingston Flemings

Houston Cougars coach Kelvin Sampson disclosed that ESPN is producing a five-part documentary centered on rookie Kingston Flemings. The announcement came during media day, where Sampson was present at Flemings' jersey retirement ceremony at San Antonio Brennan High School on October 5. Flemings, who was selected with the No. 8 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, enjoyed a successful exhibition debut against the San Antonio Spurs, scoring 15 points and registering 5 assists. The documentary is expected to include footage from various aspects of Flemings' basketball journey, with some filming occurring at his high school.
