Kentucky basketball hosts Ballard high school center Mason Grivna for unofficial visit

Kentucky basketball coaching staff under Mark Pope scheduled an unofficial visit with 2029 center Mason Grivna for Saturday, September 12. Grivna, a 6-foot-11, 220-pound prospect from Louisville, currently attends Ballard High School. Although he is not yet ranked in the 2029 recruiting cycle, the center has already secured at least 15 scholarship offers from major programs including Auburn, Indiana, and Louisville. The visit coincides with a weekend in Lexington that includes a Kentucky football game against Alabama. Grivna plans to conduct a series of six unofficial visits over the coming weeks, with trips set for Purdue, South Carolina, Louisville, Indiana, and Ohio State. Kentucky has not yet extended a formal offer to the sophomore.
