Kenzie White commits to play softball at the University of Tennessee

Clarksville High School junior Kenzie White announced her commitment to join the University of Tennessee softball program on September 6. The infielder, who plays both second base and first base, made the decision public through a post on her X account. As a sophomore, White earned recognition as The Leaf-Chronicle's 2026 All-Area Softball Player of the Year after setting program single-season records with 20 home runs, 71 runs, and 79 hits. She maintained a.632 batting average and a.695 on-base percentage while currently holding a 4.0 GPA. Beyond her high school career, she competes for the travel team Tennessee Mojo Pardue. White is part of a recent recruiting surge for the Lady Vols, joining Sophia Galindo and Nevaeh Wilson as the third Class of 2028 commitment secured by the coaching staff in the past week.
