Kevin Durant, Fred VanVleet could join Cavaliers in Harden trade proposal

Summary

A hypothetical three-team trade proposal could send Kevin Durant and Fred VanVleet to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In this scenario, the Cavaliers would trade for the pair from the Houston Rockets and the Detroit Pistons, who would receive James Harden in a sign-and-trade deal that includes Jarrett Allen and a first-round pick. This potential move aims to bolster the Cavaliers' competitiveness in the Eastern Conference following offseason adjustments by rival teams. The proposal raises questions about salary matching and the willingness of all parties involved as Cleveland seeks to improve its roster.
