Khing Thibodeaux, a top defensive lineman in the Dallas area, has transferred from Garland Lakeview to reigning state champion DeSoto. He was ruled eligible for varsity play after a 5-1 vote by the district executive committee. Thibodeaux is rated as the 53rd-best defensive lineman nationally and has 36 college offers. DeSoto, which is moving down to 5A Division I, has also added several other transfers this offseason, including quarterbacks Jayden Shaw and Patrick Harris Jr. Thibodeaux excels with 75 tackles and 11 sacks in his junior year.
