Kickingball league gains popularity in Oregon as national tournament hosted

In Gresham, Oregon, the Oregon Kickingball League has seen significant growth since its founding by Noleddy Godoy in 2023. The league now includes four teams and recently hosted a national tournament with ten teams participating. Kickingball, a variation of kickball played primarily with a soccer ball, has roots in Latin America and is gaining traction among Latino communities in the U.S. The league has also established the Little Beavers Academy, the first kickingball academy for girls in the country, aimed at fostering young talent for the sport.
