Knicks guard reflects on Spurs' emotional reaction after Thunder series win

Summary

Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs secured a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder to advance to the 2026 NBA Finals. Following their emotional celebration, Knicks guard Josh Hart noted that the Spurs' reaction suggested they may have peaked too soon. The Spurs faced the Knicks in the Finals but ultimately lost in five games, with Game 5 ending in a 94-90 defeat. After the game, Wembanyama and his teammates left the court quickly instead of celebrating a title that eluded them despite being favored after their Western Conference Finals win.
