Kody Clemens hits go-ahead home run in Twins win over Tigers

The Minnesota Twins defeated the Detroit Tigers 3-2 at Comerica Park on Tuesday. Kody Clemens delivered the decisive blow in the sixth inning with a home run off Tigers starter Drew Anderson. Kevin McGonigle provided the Tigers' offense with his 16th home run of the season, a two-run shot in the fifth inning. Anderson, who held the Twins scoreless from the second through the fifth, took the loss after allowing the go-ahead hit. Despite the performance, the Tigers were unable to score further, ending the game 66-79 for the season. The Twins' bullpen held the Tigers hitless over the final four innings of the contest.
