Kody Clemens home run helps Minnesota Twins even series against Detroit Tigers

The Minnesota Twins defeated the Detroit Tigers 3-2 on September 8 at Comerica Park to level the series. Minnesota took an early lead in the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Josh Bell. The Tigers moved ahead in the fifth inning after Kevin McGonigle hit a two-run home run into the home bullpen. Kody Clemens responded for the Twins in the sixth inning with a two-run home run off Detroit pitcher Drew Anderson to reclaim the lead. Both bullpens maintained the score for the remainder of the game. Dean Kremer earned the win for Minnesota, while Anderson took the loss for Detroit.
