Kostas Tsimikas excels in Champions League with key assists for Liverpool

Kostas Tsimikas has emerged as a significant contributor for Liverpool in the Champions League, providing two assists in recent matches against LASK and Villarreal. Despite limited game time this season, he ranks joint-second for assists in the tournament's early stages, behind only Lamine Yamal of Barcelona. Tsimikas, who has had difficulty securing a consistent starting role, aims to solidify his position in the lineup as he approaches the end of his contract at the conclusion of this season. His recent performance could influence selection decisions for upcoming fixtures, including a match against Brighton.
