Kyle Schwarber powers Phillies in Field of Dreams game victory

Kyle Schwarber homered twice as the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Minnesota Twins 7-1 in the Field of Dreams game held in Dyersville, Iowa, on August 13. The event included 26 Hall of Famers in attendance, the largest gathering since 2008. Aaron Nola struck out nine over five innings, delivering a strong performance for the Phillies. The game took place in a new permanent ballpark, which adds to Dyersville's attractions following MLB's earlier presence in Iowa. Minnesota struggled offensively, leaving nine men on base and going 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position.
