The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guards Meechie Johnson and Chase Ross while waiving forward Anton Watson. Johnson, who averaged 17.2 points for South Carolina, and Ross, who posted 14.3 points for Marquette, both started all games last season at their respective colleges. Watson was recently signed but has now been released after appearing in 50 games for the South Bay Lakers.
