Lane Kiffin and Trinidad Chambliss succeed in season opening games

LSU coach Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss both secured victories during the opening week of the college football season. In his first game with LSU on Saturday, Kiffin guided the team to a 51-10 win over Clemson. Following his departure from Ole Miss, where he previously coached Chambliss, Kiffin noted surprise at the lopsided margin of the victory. Meanwhile, Chambliss led Ole Miss to a 41-38 victory against Louisville on Sunday night. He recorded 336 passing yards with three touchdowns and one interception, while adding a rushing touchdown to his total. Analyst Dan Orlovsky praised the quarterback's second-half performance as high-level execution. The two figures are scheduled to face each other when LSU visits Ole Miss on Sept. 19.
