Las Vegas Raiders host 16 free agents for workouts ahead of Week 1

The Las Vegas Raiders held workouts for 16 players on Thursday as the team seeks to address roster depth before the regular season begins. The workout sessions focused primarily on offensive line and receiver positions, as well as the front seven, following several recent injuries and roster changes. Notable attendees included offensive lineman Evan Neal, wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and pass rushers Azeez Ojulari, B.J. Ojulari, and David Ojabo. The team has seen multiple receivers placed on injured reserve, including Dont’e Thornton Jr., Justin Shorter, Corey Rucker, and Chase Roberts. Head coach Klint Kubiak previously indicated a need for more help within the receiving corps. While these workouts demonstrate active evaluation, the organization has not signed any of these participants to the active roster.
