The Las Vegas Raiders added former New York Giants offensive lineman Evan Neal to their practice squad on September 3, 2026. The move follows his release from the Giants during final roster cutdowns on August 30. Alongside the signing of Neal, the team added wide receiver Ronnie Bell and defensive end Azeez Ojulari to the practice squad. In addition to roster adjustments, head coach Klint Kubiak officially named Kirk Cousins as the starting quarterback for the season opener. Cousins will lead the offense against the Miami Dolphins in the first week of play. This decision concludes a period of internal competition involving Fernando Mendoza and others during the offseason.
