Seattle Mariners rookie outfielder Lazaro Montes hit a 474-foot home run during Tuesday’s series opener against the Texas Rangers at T-Mobile Park. The blast occurred during the bottom half of the game, marking the second home run of his major league career. According to Mariners insider Adam Jude, the distance represents the longest home run recorded at T-Mobile Park during the Statcast era. This hit also ties the mark for the longest home run in the 2026 season, matching a distance previously reached by Fernando Tatis Jr. of the San Diego Padres. Montes, who is 21 years old, made his MLB debut for the Mariners on September 1 against the Boston Red Sox. The rookie has participated in six career games since his call-up to the major leagues.
