Le Havre nears deal to sign striker Josh Maja from West Brom
Summary

Le Havre FC is set to finalize the signing of free agent Josh Maja, a striker who previously played for West Bromwich Albion. Maja, 27, departed the EFL Championship side after his contract expired this summer. He is returning to France following a successful stint with Bordeaux, where he scored 16 goals in his last Ligue 2 season. The agreement is expected to be a two-year deal with an option for a third, as the team seeks to bolster its attack after the exit of Issa Soumaré. Maja's experience is hoped to aid Le Havre in maintaining their Ligue 1 status beyond May 2027.
