Leicester City confirms departures of three players following relegation

Leicester City announced that Hannah Cain, Chantelle Swaby, and Rosella Ayane will leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of June. Cain, a Welsh international forward, has been with Leicester since their promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League in 2020. Swaby, a Jamaican international midfielder, made 31 appearances since joining from FC Fleury 91 in 2024. Ayane, who joined last September, has made 14 appearances. Leicester was relegated to Barclays WSL2 after a penalty shootout loss to Charlton Athletic in the end-of-season play-off.
