Bayer Leverkusen is seeking a replacement for Alejandro Grimaldo, who is reportedly set to join Atlético Madrid for around €25 million. Raphael Guerreiro is under consideration, available on a free transfer after leaving Bayern Munich, but new head coach Carles Martínez prefers a faster left-back option. Leverkusen is also monitoring Arsène Kouassi of FC Lorient, who could cost approximately €20 million and plays alongside Edmond Tapsoba for Burkina Faso.
