Lisandro Martinez criticizes Manchester United after Atletico Madrid loss

Manchester United suffered a 2-0 defeat to Atlético Madrid at the Metropolitano Stadium on October 14. Pablo Barrios and Ademola Lookman scored for Atlético, while Leny Yoro received a red card, complicating United's efforts. Lisandro Martinez labeled the performance 'really poor' and expressed dissatisfaction with the club's hierarchy for not adequately strengthening the squad after last season's success. He defended manager Michael Carrick, attributing larger issues to the club's approach to management and player effort. The loss marks United's fifth match without a win, bringing their total to just two victories from nine this season.
