Liverpool is reportedly days away from finalizing a £72 million deal sending forward Cody Gakpo to Tottenham. Gakpo, who joined Liverpool in January 2023, could be sacrificed to help finance incoming transfers as Liverpool aims to strengthen their attacking options after Mohamed Salah's departure. The club has also made bids for other wide forwards, including Yankuba Minteh from Brighton, which might require additional funding.
