Liverpool prepares for Ipswich Town match with expected lineup adjustments

Liverpool travels to Portman Road this Friday to face Ipswich Town in search of the club's first Premier League victory of the season. Following two consecutive 2-2 draws against Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest, the squad aims to secure three points. Manager Andoni Iraola plans to employ a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Ryan Gravenberch anticipated to enter the starting lineup in place of Alexis Mac Allister. The defensive line remains anchored by Alisson Becker, Virgil Van Dijk, and Jeremy Jacquet. Alexander Isak is set to lead the attack after his recent scoring performance against Nottingham Forest, while new signing Bradley Barcola is expected to be available among the substitutes. The team looks to improve its defensive consistency after conceding four goals across the first two matches of the campaign.
