Liverpool pursues Cher Ndour amid competition from Manchester United

Summary

Liverpool is reportedly targeting Italian midfielder Cher Ndour as a key transfer in the upcoming winter window. The club's previous attempts to strengthen their midfield were unsuccessful, and their current depth has been a concern. Ndour, a standout for Fiorentina last season, has also attracted interest from clubs including Aston Villa and Newcastle. While Manchester United initially pursued Ndour, their recent signings appear to have shifted focus away from him. A deal is not imminent, but Liverpool's strong interest suggests a potential bid as January approaches.
