Liverpool receives squad boost ahead of Wrexham friendly

Summary

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has welcomed three new players to his squad ahead of a friendly match against Wrexham in New York on July 29. After a 4-2 victory over Sunderland, the team had been left short in defense due to an injury to Joe Gomez. Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, and Ryan Gravenberch have arrived after their World Cup break, providing additional options for Iraola. While the trio will not address the team’s center-back concerns, they are expected to play a significant role as the pre-season continues.
