New women’s tag team champions were crowned in the NWA on the latest episode of Powerrr. Pretty Empowered said goodbye to the gold as a 19-year-old rookie scored two pins in the two out of three falls title bout. Sisters Kenzie Paige and Kylie Paige have not been on the same page for months, and that cost them in losing a triple-threat against WWE’s Natalya. Pretty Empowered kept their cool in this title bout, but the result was the same. They recently signed with the National Wrestling Alliance, and that confidence paid off. Liviyah scored the pin in the first fall by trapping Kylie on a roll-up. Kylie sat on Kenzie’s shoulders for an awesome towering cutter to Liviyah. Morgan broke the pin to save her partner, although, the referee’s count is up for debate if that should have been a point for the champions. It doesn’t matter anyway. The challengers closed the second fall when Morgan connected on a Pele kick and Liviyah executed a cradle DDT to Kenzie for the clean sweep to become champions.
