Louisiana judge allows former NFL players to rejoin LSU football team

Both players previously competed at Ole Miss and spent time with NFL teams during the preseason. While Kiffin confirmed Wright has been practicing with the Tigers and is eligible to play, Harris is expected to remain unavailable due to NCAA acclimation requirements. The legal dispute over the players' eligibility continues as the SEC prepares to appeal the ruling. Simultaneously, the SEC has filed a separate lawsuit in Alabama federal court against Kiffin, LSU, and other university officials. Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney criticized the situation, citing a lack of clear governance and rules regarding collegiate player eligibility. LSU is scheduled to host Clemson on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
