LSU basketball secures five-star point guard recruit Reese Alston

LSU men's basketball has gained a commitment from five-star point guard Reese Alston for its 2027 recruiting class. Alston, a 6-foot-3 player from Houston, Texas, led his high school team to a state championship while contributing an impressive 22.2 points per game last season. He chose LSU over other top programs, including Louisville and Tennessee. With Alston's addition, LSU has secured the top recruiting class in the nation, including pledges from four-star recruits King Gibson and Ahmad Hudson. Alston made an official visit to Baton Rouge in September before making his decision public.
