FSV Mainz 05 is set to bring back Stefan Posch from Como for around €4 million. The deal comes after Mainz expressed a strong desire to retain the player, who has undergone a medical examination ahead of finalizing his contract. Posch's return follows Como's acquisition of Borussia Dortmund's Yan Couto, making Posch surplus to their requirements. Negotiations for the transfer began earlier this month, with Mainz willing to extend their financial limits to secure the defender's signature.
