Malakai Black revealed that there was a proposal for him to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42. On the ‘ZELVX and CHARLIE GIRL’ podcast, Black detailed an idea involving a smoking jacket for his entrance, which was initially intended for the event. Despite some interaction with Orton earlier in the year, the match never materialized. Black, known as Aleister Black in WWE, made his last appearance for the company on April 17 before being released shortly afterward. He has since returned to the independent circuit and currently holds the Progress Men’s World Championship.
